The design phase establishes the creative and technical architecture of the production.

Ideas are explored, tested and developed against the realities of the venue, production infrastructure, engineering requirements and available budget.

Once the design is established, the production begins to take shape in time. Music, performance, video, scenic movement and lighting are broken into individual moments and sequences.

Previsualisation allows these ideas to be programmed, reviewed and refined before entering the venue.

Technology — lighting networks, media servers, pixel mapping, followspots, PSN, remote triggering and automation — is integrated into a unified show-control environment.

The design moves from the virtual environment into the physical space. Lighting systems are installed, commissioned and focused before programming is refined against the real-world environment, performers, scenic elements, video and production conditions.

The process continues through rehearsals and into performance, with ongoing show direction, programming adjustments and technical maintenance ensuring the original creative intent is maintained throughout the production.
